In the greenhouse planted by our botanist friend Claude Figureau and the students of the Kerplouz d’Auray agricultural school, La Belle Folie – a proper restaurant in Carnac / Ploemel – is cooking up market cuisine. Inspired by the recipes of our grandmothers. Drawing on our travel memories. On the menu: seafood and earthly pleasures. Local and seasonal.
Oysters with ginger jus, chicken with cider, langoustines flambéed with four spices… or crêpes Suzette. Some vegetables, heritage or unknown, for discovery. Aromatic herbs, too, grown in our vegetable patch. Then it is ready to serve. A Simple Menu. Fish, meat and vegetarian dish of the day. Two starters, two desserts. And some tapas.
Order at the counter and settle in. Here, we eat in a family style, at shared large tables. Or if you prefer in a more intimate setting. And even in the cabins thanks to the baskets to take away!
